The Des Moines Police Foundation is highly committed to improving the quality of life for the citizens of Des Moines, as well as the overall well being of Des Moines PD staff.

We aim to meet these goals by sponsoring and participating in many of the Department's Community Outreach Projects, as well as community events throughout the year.  The Foundation also facilitates several human services programs aimed at empowering officers to make a difference when they come across situations where citizens need a little extra compassion.
